Responsibilities
  • Guide development of content policies, including policies on what people can post on our family of apps, what they can advertise, and what they can monetize
  • Work with colleagues on our content review teams and engineering teams to ensure we build the right tools to accurately enforce our policies
  • Guide the implementation of our policies, including applying policies to specific posts or ads
  • Represent content policy leadership in conversations within the company, both in the Singapore office and with other offices
  • Evaluate the impact of legislative, regulatory, and industry proposals
  • Collaborate with product, legal, business and other teams to evaluate new and existing products and features to ensure they reflect Facebook’s policies, values and principles
  • Respond to questions and consultations from external stakeholders on relevant policy issues
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of significant responsibility working in law, public policy, or consulting in Asia
  • Multi-market experience in Asia
  • Strong judgment and leadership, including the ability to bring together people with different perspectives
  • Superior oral and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree in public policy or law
  • Experience in policy or legal work for a multinational corporation or government
