  •  Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, working with SQL and Python
  • 2 years of experience in an enterprise anti abuse environment

  • Experience using complex data to detect and forecast abuse trends.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you’re a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed – with urgency. We defend Google’s integrity by fighting spam, fraud and abuse, and develop and communicate state-of-the-art product policies. The Trust and Safety team reduces risk and protects the experience of our users and business partners in multiple languages and across Google’s expanding base of products. We work with a variety of teams from Engineering to Legal, Public Policy and Sales Engineering to set policies and combat fraud and abuse in a scalable way, often with an eye to finding industry-wide solutions. Trust and Safety team members are motivated to find innovative solutions, and use technical know-how, user insights and proactive communication to pursue the highest possible quality and safety standards for users across Google products. The Enterprise abuse team works on developing signals and classifiers to prevent abuse of our products and keep the workspace ecosystem clean. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.


  • Identify market and product-specific trends related to abuse of Google products
  • Develop anti-abuse programs to solve for cross-product vulnerabilities, and ensure their successful roll-out on a global scale by leading cross-functional teams toward a common, measurable goal
  • Conduct data analyses to highlight hidden patterns and trends in product abuse, and recommend system and process solutions to address these abuse trends
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, product management, legal, and other teams to ensure successful deployment of anti-abuse efforts
